Cornwall Royal Grad Finishes 18th Season In Pro Hockey 5

John began his Ontario Hockey League career in 1988-89 while using Cornwall Royals. He played four seasons with all the Royals and in his second season in the club won the Max Kaminsky Trophy when the OHL's top defenseman. That season, he had 38 goals and 97 points in 64 games.Slaney was drafted because of the Washington Capitals around the first round of one's 1990 NHL draft, 9th overall. Just finishing his 18th season in professional hockey, John played a complete of 268 NHL games in the Capitals, Colorado Avalanche, Idaho Kings, Phoenix Coyotes, Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers.However, a great a natural part of John Slaney's career in North America was spent in the AHL. He played for five different teams during the league: Baltimore Skipjacks,mac makeup wholesale, Portland Pirates, Cornwall Aces,insanity vs p90x, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Philadelphia Phantoms. His first season was used the Cologne Sharks and also past two were spent in Frankfurt in the Lions.
